On Saturday, February 26 (my 24th birthday) I will be running the “Padres Contra El Cancer” 5K marathon along with 19 other members of the Lalih Team. My only birthday wish is to raise enough funds to send Lalih, my super heroine kid and Isella's niece, and at least one other family member to Disneyland!

Although I have some reservations about Disneyland, it is Lalih’s dream place to celebrate her 4th birthday, February 22nd (go Pisces!). Lalih is a fan of all animals, from zebras to lizards and, of course, the awesome bilingual Dora the Explorer. She enjoys rides and fun games, but will also be perfectly happy with a session of painting and reading too. Her top favorite books are Pink Pajamas and The Lorax (cool smart kid!).
